30 minute (FD30) internal fire doors and 1 hour (FD60).
Interior 1/2 hour fire check (FD30) are often specified in new builds, third floors and above, shared occupancy buildings and between a house and a garage. To comply with fire regulations they require fitting in an appropriate casing with smoke seals, hinges and hardware. Some of the styles available have matching 35mm internal doors. There is certain standard requirement for glazed fire check doors, all the pre-glazed doors we supply meet or exceed these regulations. The range of pre-finished flush doors also have very good acoustic properties, ideal for shared properties. All have solid core centres, then veneered with timbers such as oak, ash, beech, cherry, walnut and sapele. Council requirements may specify the higher rated 54mm thick one hour fire doors (FD60). One thing to consider when choosing your doors, especially when there is a mix of rated and non rated and is there available a matching standard internal door.
